Márta was active in the Zionist underground. She engaged in obtaining authentic Aryan documents from the offices of the Population Registry in Budapest. She maintained contact with members of the movement who were serving in forced labor units, helped them escape and reach Budapest. Under a false name Márta and one of her friends succeeded in finding accommodation in a girls’ hostel belonging to the fascist Arrow Cross Party and to steal documents and forms from there. As their real identity was discovered, Márta and her friend escaped to the “Glass House” where they stayed until the liberation of the city. Márta moved to Romania where she married Gabby Révész. She returned to Hungary with her husband and tried to cross the border again but this time into Yugoslavia. In Yugoslavia Márta was caught by the police but managed to get free and arrive in Italy where she gave birth to her son. She returned to Hungary with her husband to complete her studies. Marta made aliya in 1956. She lived in Rishon LeTzion.
